Are designed to provide you with an in-depth insight into natural landscapes and human societies in the Caucasus, Siberia and Central Asia. Our cross-disciplinary educational program covers such topics as physical and economic geography, history and culture, agriculture, biology, nature protection and resource management.

Summer Schools

Are developed according to the needs of our cooperation partners – higher education institutes, international agencies and local NGOs working in the field of nature protection. The summer schools usually cover a narrow thematic focus from natural and environmental sciences providing hands-on fieldwork training on site.

Both, excursions and summer schools are accountable for ECTS credits. Developing excursions and summer schools CACSEE relies on long-standing networks forged with protected areas, universities and NGOs in the region. Traveling with CACSEE is a two-way exchange of experience between the guests and the hosts. Thus, CACSEE brings together local knowledge and World citizenship education.
